PrequalifyRoof

Editorial policy

Why this site exists

Roof replacement is one of the largest sudden expenses a homeowner faces, and the information gap between homeowners and the people quoting them is wide. PrequalifyRoof exists to close that gap: what things should cost, how insurance claims actually get decided, and what a fair contractor engagement looks like.

How content is produced

Our guides are drafted with AI research assistance against published sources — government data, insurer filings, industry cost surveys, and trade association standards. Drafts must pass an automated quality review that checks factual sourcing, structure, and usefulness before a human sees them. Patrick Gomez reviews, corrects, and approves content before and after publication. Pages that don't meet the bar don't get published.

Sourcing rules

Every statistic on this site is attributed to a named, dated source, listed in the Sources section of each page. We do not invent numbers, addresses, reviews, or testimonials. When sources disagree, we show ranges and say so.

Corrections

If you find an error, tell us via the author page and we will verify and correct it. Corrections update the page's visible “Updated” date. We never change dates without changing content.

Advertising and monetization

PrequalifyRoof offers a prequalification form operated by ClaimPredict, whose CEO reviews this site's content — that relationship is disclosed here and on every author byline. Educational content is never altered to favor the form's outcomes, and using it is always optional.
